At the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, Nightingale presents Justicia y Paz, a musical tapestry of Latin American choral and folk music selections that speak on themes of peace, justice, healing, and protest. Justicia y Paz weaves together excerpts from Argentine composer Ariel Ramírez’s Misa por la paz y la justicia, and Colombian-American composer Nico Gutierrez’s Requiem for the New World along with Latin American folk and popular repertoire arranged by members of the group.
