Nightingale will team up with early music trio The Pandora Consort to explore the exquisite and innovative music of Claudio Monteverdi and his “new sound." Monteverdi is widely regarded as one of the greatest composers and innovators in Western music history. Through selections from his nine books of madrigals and his personal letters, this performance weaves a narrative of Monteverdi’s life as a musician and the challenges of being a visionary in one's time.
